What It Is
ClariShield Wet Look is a clear, non-yellowing acrylic that enhances and protects bare or previously coated concrete and masonry, indoors or out. It goes on milky white so you can see your coverage, then dries clear in about an hour. It resists water, salt, UV, oil and chemical stains.
Pros
- Low odor and soap-and-water cleanup
- Dries clear to a durable gloss that enhances color
- Easy to see coverage as you apply
- Works well over H&C solid and semi-transparent stains
Cons
- As a film-forming acrylic, it wears faster outdoors than a penetrating sealer and will need recoating
- Not recommended for garage floors
- Gloss finishes can be slippery when wet; consider an anti-slip additive on pool decks and steps
Application Tips
- Use a synthetic 1/4″ to 3/8″ nap roller and a brush for edges; airless spraying is optional.
- Let freshly stained or painted surfaces cure before sealing.
- Apply thin coats and don’t thin the product.
