What It Is
Lion Hard penetrates bare concrete and reacts to permanently densify and dustproof the surface. It can go on at placement, after final troweling, or on existing cured concrete, and it’s commonly used during polishing to harden the floor between grinding steps.
Pros
- Long-lasting dustproofing for high-traffic floors
- UV stable, so it won’t yellow, flake or discolor
- No waxing needed; the floor develops a sheen with use and cleaning
- Meets NFSI safe-floor requirements
Cons
- Sold through professional distributors in 5-gallon and larger containers
- It’s a densifier, not a water or stain repellent
- Works best on bare concrete; existing sealers and curing compounds must be removed
Who Should Buy It
It’s ideal for warehouses, retail and polished floors. For homeowners who want hardening plus water repellency in one step, see best concrete densifiers and silicate vs. silane/siloxane sealers.
